Thirty minutes with a senior partner is the shortest path to a real answer.

For twenty-six years we have sat across from owners facing the same three questions — how do I keep more of what I earn, is my finance function built for what comes next, and what does a clean exit actually look like. The strategy call is where those conversations begin. No pitch deck. No junior associate. A working partner who has seen your situation before.

First call typically booked within 24 hours · A senior partner on every line · No fee for the first conversation

“We do not staff strategy calls with associates. The person you meet is the person who will work the engagement.”

Where the conversation actually happens.

The strategy call is with a working partner in Boston or Austin — whichever seat is closer to your timezone and your business. Below are the offices, the direct lines, and the two partners most often on the first call.

What happens after you book

Three steps from form to a written follow-up.

No mystery, no funnel. Here is exactly what you will receive, in the order you will receive it.

  1. 01

    Confirmation — same business day

Within four hours of submitting the form, an advisor from the partner team confirms your slot by email and sends a calendar hold for the partner who will take your call. If a particular partner is unavailable, the email names the substitute before you reply.

    Average response · 1 hour 42 minutes

  2. 02

    Ten-minute intake before the call

Seventy-two hours before the call, you receive a short intake — five written questions about revenue range, entity structure, and the specific question you want answered. Responses go to the partner directly, never to an assistant.

No document upload required at this stage

  3. 03

The call, then a written follow-up

Thirty minutes on the line, then a one-page written summary inside two business days — capturing the partner's observations, the three actions you discussed, and a clear next step if you decide to continue. The summary is yours whether or not we ever speak again.

No fee · No obligation · No junior associate

Before you book

Direct answers to the questions partners hear most often.

  1. Does the strategy call cost anything?

No. The first thirty minutes with a partner is offered at no fee and with no obligation. If we agree on a working engagement, that conversation is itemized and presented as a fixed-fee proposal before any work begins — never on a billable-hour basis.

  2. Who exactly is on the call?

A working partner, never a junior associate and never a sales development representative. The Boston and Austin introductions on this page name the partners who most often take first calls in each region; you will be told who is on the line at the confirmation stage, not afterward.

  3. Should I bring my existing CPA or attorney onto the call?

That is your call, and a familiar one for our partners. If it would feel more useful for you to have your current advisors on the line for a portion of the conversation, say so in the intake form and we will arrange it. Many owners prefer to have the first conversation privately and introduce their team later.

  4. What happens to anything I share during the call?

The call is treated as a confidential consultation from the first minute. Notes are kept inside the firm's encrypted client system under our standard engagement-policy controls. The firm carries $5M in CAMICO professional-liability coverage that exceeds state licensing minimums by twelve times, and no information is shared outside the partner team without written authorization.
